Pokémon: Alpha Omega


Chapter 1: Welcome to Hoenn


Lilth sat in the back of the moving van as she waited to enter the Hoenn region. She was arriving from the region of Johto and was moving in with her mother at Littleroot Town because her father Norman had just became the gym leader of Petalburg City. In her hands was a little video device that was playing a Pokémon lecture from the Hoenn region's Pokémon professor, Birch, talking about Pokémon and how people interact with them. Suddenly, the can stopped, and opened up for Lilth. She got right back up and jumped out of the truck, seeing her new home. Littleroot town.
Next, she saw her mother exit the house and see her.
Mother: Oh hello Lilth, you're finally here. How was the ride?
Lilth: A little bumpy, but it's good to be here now. Did any packages come from Kalos yet?
Mother: No, nothing. Why don't you come inside and get settled in?
Lilth sighed when she heard that her first Pokémon hadn't arrived yet. A friend of her's promised to send her an egg, but she guessed he was still making it. They had both entered the house and saw two Machokes finishing up their job of arranging furniture.
Mother: Good job boys, it looks great here.
Machoke 1: Machoke!
Machoke 2: Machoke! Choke!
The two Machokes left the house.
Mother: Why don't you go see your room and set that clock of your's?
Lilth: Okay I guess.
Lilth went up to her decorated room and set her clock as asked, then looked around the room, soon finding her Wii U.
A few minutes of playing Super Smash Bros later, she went back downstairs to see her mother watching TV, where her father Norman, leader of the Petalburg gym was seen. Her mother looked up and noticed Lilth.
Mother: Oh Lilth, a friend of your father's lives in this town. I think his name is Birch.
Lilth: Isn't that the Pokémon professor of Hoenn?
Mother: Yeah, I think he would very much like to meet you.
Lilth: Oh god, you told him my age didn't you?! Now he's going to hit on me!
Mother: You'll be fine Lilth.
Lilth exited the house and went to the neighboring house where she walked in and saw Birch's wife.
Mrs. Birch: Oh hello. You must be Lilth, our son was wondering when you would get here.
Lilth: Let me guess, he thinks I'm hot.
Mrs. Birch: He hasn't seen you before. Why don't you say hello?
Lilth started to tense up and she walked upstairs, where she saw a young man about her age. The man suddenly turned around and saw her standing there.
Orlando: Oh, you're Lilth? Sorry, I didn't expect someone my age.
Lilth: I know, I'm twenty but I haven't started as a Pokémon trainer yet! Nothing to make a big deal out of.
Orlando: No it's alright, I haven't started either. Not officially, I've just been helping my dad. Oh, speaking of him, I should see him now!
Orlando got his bag ready and headed for the door.
Orlando: I'm Orlando by the way.
He then left the room, and Lilth left as well. While in the town, she decided to look around Littleroot Town, then she heard hysterical screaming just outside of the town and went rushing over there. She saw Professor Birch, running from a small dog-like Pokémon that Lilth recognized as a Poochyena.
Birch: Help me! Please!
He saw Lilth there and backed away from the growling Pokémon slowly.
Birch: Look in my bag! There are some Pokéballs in there! Hurry!
Lilth saw Birch's discarded bag and went over to it, searching through it, and found three Pokéballs inside. One had a leaf on the top, another a flame, and the last, a drop of water. She chose the one with the leaf and threw it at the Poochyena. The Pokéball opened up and out came the Pokémon inside. A small, gecko-like Pokémon which Lilth knew was a Treecko. The Poochyena took its gaze off Birch and focused on the Treecko that Lilth had just sent out.
Lilth: What do I do now?
Birch: Give Treecko an order! It knows Pound, Leer and Absorb!
Lilth looked at the Treecko and then at the Poochyena.
Lilth: Okay Treecko, use Absorb!
Treecko started draining energy from the Poochyena and took it as her own, but the Poochyena tackled Treecko immediately after.
Lilth: Well then, we'll show you how it feels, Treecko use Pound!
Treecko ran forward and slammed her tail into the Poochyena, causing it to faint. After a few seconds, two more Poochyena came in and drug their friend away to heal.


A few minutes later, back at Birch's lab, Lilth and the professor were talking.
Birch: Thank you for saving me back there Lilth. You truly are a fine young lady.
Lilth: Take it easy big guy, I'm saving myself up.
Birch: No, you misunderstand. Anyway, please accept the Treecko you used today as a sign of gratitude. She seems to like you.
Lilth: Thank you Professor!
Lilth opened the Pokéball, and Treecko came out, looking up at her new trainer in excitement.
Treecko: Treecko?
Lilth: Guess what Treecko. I'm your new trainer!
Treecko: Treecko!
Treecko leapt up at Lilth and landed in her arms.
Birch: I do have a mission for you though. I have a Pokédex for you, and I would like for you to journey across Hoenn to see all the species there are to obtain.
Birch handed her a Pokédex and she took it willingly.
Lilth: I would be happy to go on my journey.
